About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Access Adviser to join the Cultural Heritage, Aboriginal Engagement and Land Access team. Reporting to the departmental Manager, the position can be based in Brisbane or Adelaide. Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System.
They include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for the delivery of cultural heritage, native title and access agreements and approvals across assets
Facilitating and leading the negotiation and implementation of cultural heritage and native title agreements
Responsibility for ensuring access obligations and compliance actions are captured and administered in the Comtrack database
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including asset partners, native title parties, statutory and regulatory bodies
Attendance and interface at asset specific planning and execution
To Be A Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will hold a Degree or Diploma and/or will have attained experience in the areas of cultural heritage, native title and land access ideally within the resources industry. You will be experienced in liaising with landholders, traditional owners and statutory bodies as well as interpreting/managing compliance to State, Territory and Federal legislation.
